LAS VEGAS, January 31, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — LG Electronics, a leader in air conditioning technology United States of America announces this week its robust range of HVAC solutions for commercial, light commercial and residential buildings for 2022 – including industry-leading VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) technology, the latest energy-efficient heat pump options, indoor air quality solutions and flexible building automation and connectivity products the AHR Expo® 2022 in Las Vegas.
LG ELECTRONICS RETURNS TO AHR EXPO WITH DEBUT OF HVAC PORTFOLIO 2022.
One of the main highlights is the official debut of LG’s Inverter Scroll Heat Pump Chiller (ISHPC). Bringing innovation to the air-cooled chiller category, the LG ISHPC uses inverter technology to provide hot and cold water for both comfort and process applications, delivering powerful performance without sacrificing quieter operation, flexibility or energy efficiency. By combining the key design attributes of VRF technology with chilled water production, LG raises the bar for air-cooled chillers with a robust set of high-performance features, offering engineers a flexible, cost-effective and properly sized air source heat pump solution for heating and cooling. Along with the market’s growing trend towards electrification, the high heating performance with low ambient performance of the new LG ISHPC is a viable technical solution that meets the need for hot water heating and supports a CO2 reduction strategy.
“After many months, we are excited to return to AHR Expo alongside the industry – both in person and virtually,” he said Steve ScarbroughSenior Vice President, Air Conditioning Technologies, LG Electronics United States of America. “We look forward to sharing LG’s latest offerings and product innovations in air quality, electrification and smart connectivity as we showcase our most innovative range of industry-leading tools for commercial and residential applications in 2022 and beyond.”
Visitors to the world’s largest industry show for HVAC engineers, contractors, distributors and other professionals visiting LG’s booth #N7906 will be able to interact with LG’s latest air conditioning technologies and award-winning products and controls.
In addition to the LG Inverter Scroll Heat Pump Chiller, AHR attendees can see the following solutions:
LG Split Compact Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems (DOAS)
LG Split Compact DOAS features a main coil and a hot gas reheating coil and dehumidifies, cools or heats the outdoor air needed to ventilate an occupied space, especially for retrofit applications with limited space for ceilings, ducts or ducts. Part of LG’s family of DOAS systems, the Split Compact DOAS features a factory-installed heat recovery section, integrated graphics in the DOAS controller, and an optional AC Smart® touchscreen controller. Integrating DOAS controls with LG’s VRF system provides more efficient day-to-day monitoring and control by facility managers.
LG inverter water heater with heat pump
LG’s inverter heat pump water heater offers energy efficiency benefits compared to electric resistance or gas water heaters. The LG Inverter Heat Pump Water Heater is ideal for residential applications, delivering hot water with an ENERGY STAR® qualified efficiency of 3.75 UEF. The inverter heat pump water heater features an LG inverter compressor, quieter operation at 42dB(A) and Wi-Fi capability for remote management with the LG ThinQ® phone app.
LG Multi F MAX LGRED° heat pump
An ENERGY STAR qualified multi-zone heat pump system (36K, 42K and 48K units) with a single outdoor unit to which up to eight indoor units can be connected, the LG Multi F MAX with LGRED° heating technology provides continuous heating down to -13°F and 100 percent of rated output at 5°F. Multi F Max with LGRED° is ideal for residential and light commercial applications and is designed to allow placement of individual indoor units in respective rooms, improve indoor comfort by allowing individual temperature settings while avoiding over-cooling and/or heating and thus inconveniences are minimized temperature fluctuations.
LG MultiSITE VM3 controller
The MultiSITE VM3 provides centralized control of LG’s innovative VRF technology and non-VRF building systems. Based on the industry-leading Niagara Framework®1, VM3 provides a web-based HTML5 graphical user interface that can be easily customized to meet building or customer requirements. The LG MultiSITE VM3 is scalable and IoT-ready.
LG ThinQ® app
The LG ThinQ App enables remote control of LG HVAC devices along with other LG home appliances. ThinQ features include voice-activated commands, the ability to authorize remote access for technicians, and schedule comfort conditions on an individual room basis. Smart Diagnosis™ allows users to ask questions directly to system experts to improve proper system performance and maintenance.
